Why We Track Every Prediction
We believe prediction transparency is non-negotiable. Anyone can claim "expert tips" or "90% accuracy" — we show the receipts. Every match winner prediction published on CricketMatchDay is tracked from the moment of publication to the final result. We do NOT delete incorrect predictions. We do NOT selectively report results. Every outcome — correct and incorrect — is published on this page for anyone to verify.
Our current overall accuracy stands at 58.2% across 200+ verified match winner predictions since IPL 2023. This means we correctly predict the match winner in approximately 58 out of every 100 matches. In T20 cricket — where toss results, dew conditions, individual performances and Impact Player substitutions create enormous variance — consistent accuracy above 55% represents genuine analytical value above the 50% random baseline. It also means we get it wrong over 40% of the time, and we are transparent about that.
Methodology
We track Match Winner predictions only — this is the most verifiable and unambiguous market. A prediction is marked ✅ Correct if our predicted winner wins the match (including via Super Over). A prediction is marked ❌ Incorrect if the opposing team wins. Matches abandoned without result (rain/NR with no ball bowled, or match reduced below 5 overs per side) are excluded from the accuracy calculation entirely. Accuracy = (correct predictions ÷ total settled predictions) × 100%.
